I don’t care how big and scary Michael Vick is. If given the chance, I would personally kick him so hard in a place so inappropriate he may want to change his name to Michelle afterward. And it would be totally justified.
Sick pig. How ‘bout the NFL institute a zero tolerance policy on this kind of behavior? Yeah, I know, fat chance.

I’m on a bit of a sports kick lately. With the draft gone by and NBA talk set to settle for awhile, I came across a link from a Memphis writer about Shane Battier’s Memphis -> Houston draft day trade.
A fine tribute to a fine young man. My pals down in Texas would be excited, if they weren’t so vehemently anti-Duke (*cough*Adam*cough*).

Until the NBA Draft. It is one of those holy years in which it falls on Bobby Hurley’s birthday. I will be baking a cake and watching the event with my pal Corey, whom I believe to be 3/16ths Hurley, 3/16ths Garciaparra, 3/16ths Redick and the rest Reynolds.
I can smell the tremendous upside potential from here. Screw the World Cup—THIS is the greatest sporting event the world has ever seen.
