Depressing Conservation News du Jour

A species of rhino is extinct.

Namibian sea lions are being culled.

Gorillas get ebola.

Don’t eat tuna.

I tried to find some good news to offset all of this but was unsuccessful. Posting something happy will be my goal for the rest of the week.

Oh wait, I read something about a humpback whale that has been sighted since 1984 getting disentangled from the fishing gear that would surely have killed it. That’s good. There you go.
