The Odd Couple
After receiving a forward on the subject for the second time (possibly in celebration of their one-year anniversary) I decided to look further into the Hippo and Tortoise post-tsunami rumors. As a scientist I am not supposed to read a story like this and see anything but genetically programmed animal behavior and the need for a surrogate parent, but it cannot help but tug at my heartstrings.
