Widget Recommendation

I firmly believe that whoever makes widgets needs to make one where you can type in the common name of a plant or animal and have it’s genus species name spat out at you when you hit return. How cool would that be? It could come in a variety of animal “skins…” It would make biodorks everywhere ecstatic.

    Well I can say that the first step would be to find a reliable location to pass the name and return the genus. I’m not sure one exists that wouldn’t require fiddling. Then we’d have to come up with the scripts and stuff. I’ll look into this when I get a chance. Just remind me every once in a while and I’ll look into the whole building widgets thing. I’m sure Brian would be interested in understanding the intricacies. You’ll be the first bio-nerd to know.
