• About Me

I heard a commentator on NPR say that her blog made her a better writer. I believe everything I hear on NPR. And writing is one of the many things I like to do and hope to be good at.

    eclectic

    — eclec·ti·cal·ly \-ti-k(ə-)lē\ adverb

I’m pretty much sure I made up the word eclecticist, but hopefully you get my drift. I like to try and do a lot of things. I am a weirdo and an uberdork. I like marine creatures and Duke Basketball, a bluegrass band from Colorado, and the love of good family, friends, man, and dog. I am a student of science, but refuse to disbelieve in mystery. I wish to be outdoors as much as possible, especially with my dog. I love to bake, and to read, and to Twitter. I want to be a good photographer, and a great friend. I get bored easily, and despite my love for complex, well-prepared dishes my favorite food is plain lasagna noodles. I think the world is a better place because of songbirds, parchment paper, and Zach Braff.

Oh, and I know these two cool guys who put this little web site together for me. Give them praise and laud and do it on an apple computer, for god’s sake.
